Nei Mom Uprising works to empower women and communities across Kiribati through protection, health, education, climate resilience and economic opportunities.
Nei Mom Uprising is Kiribati's only organisation dedicated to empowering young mothers, marginalised women and girls, providing the daily life skills, entrepreneurial opportunities and community support they need to reach their fullest potential.
Founded in 2017 by young mothers who triumphed over the same challenges many still face, we work to change the mindset of communities towards young mothers, while equipping our members with the skills and confidence to lead safer, stronger futures for themselves and their families.
Everything we do connects back to helping young mothers, families and communities across Kiribati thrive safely, healthily and sustainably.
